Neuromuscular Therapy /Trigger Point Therapy - A more focused session based around specific needs and problem areas. This is a much deeper massage than a basic deep tissue where we "Go to" the troubled muscles and release the tension at its core. This will hurt so good!

1.5 hour session $165
Reflexology (Hand and/or foot) - Hands and/or feet are cleaned with a natural exfoliant, treated with peppermint essential oils, cocooned in hot towels and thoroughly massaged with focus on specific points on the hands and/or feet that correspond to specific organs or parts of the body. This modality is to treat congested areas of the body and give an overall sense of relaxation and wholeness. THIS IS NOT LIKE A REGULAR FOOT MASSAGE. It is a bit more intense because of the breakdown of blockages occurring.

Q: What is massage?
A: Massage is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin) for the purpose of normalizing them. Mostly done using hands, arms, forearms and elbows, It is the oldest most natural type of integrative medicine known to man.
In short, if you feel pain or discomfort somewhere, your therapist is trained to assist in relieving that pain and bringing you back to feeling like yourself!
Q: How often should I get massage (regular, non post-surgical)?
A: Massage is recommended at LEAST once a month. If you are more active on a daily basis (athlete, runner or someone with a high-stress lifestyle) more massage is recommended. Two to three times a month, depending on the circumstances. If you have a chronic issue, you may need 2-3 times a week until the issue is resolved.
Q: Does it matter what kind of massage I get?
A: Absolutely! If you woke up with low back pain, a Swedish massage would not help you. If you need to relax, Neuromuscular therapy would probably not be a good option. We tailor each massage to fit your individual need. Our focus is to address your area of concern and give you relief. Sometimes we are able to blend modalities if it suits your body best!
